about me

For the past 14 years I have worked in a busy clinic setting treating a variety of common, and some not so common conditions.  As a former track and field athlete and regular gym-goer, I have a keen interest in using my physiotherapy knowledge to not only prevent and treat a range of sporting conditions but to improve performance as a whole.  Over the years I have worked with both international level rugby and tennis players, in addition to world record-breaking rowers, nationally ranked triathletes, track and field athletes as well as youth sports teams.

"Sam has been treating me for Pelvic Girdle Pain, specifically SI joint dysfunction, since my second pregnancy. I am hypermobile, which does not help with PGP as it causes my joints to move out of position easily. Sam is a fantastic physiotherapist who is so passionate about helping women.

This is so important, as PGP is very under recognised by GP's and within the NHS. Sam knows exactly how to treat my symptoms and I am convinced she has magic hands! Chronic pain is emotionally draining and Sam is always there to help, listen and provide appropriate follow up exercises to support on an ongoing basis. I'd be lost without her!"
